A day on the golf course with a client – or boss – is every bit as important to corporate life as board meetings, annual reviews and holiday parties. If you choose to mix golf and business – you’d better know the “unspoken rules.”

JOHN K. BURKE

John K. Burke has had a 30-year sales, marketing and public relations career of national and international experience that has evolved into ownership of a successful leading-edge strategic solutions firm headquartered in Delray Beach Florida. John’s corporate experience, structure and discipline comes from 20 years with Fortune 500 giants Colgate-Palmolive, Foster-Grant and Reebok, holding 3 vice presidential senior level management positions with responsibilities over North America, Europe and the South Pacific. He founded CustomRgolf™, and has used golf to develop relationships, to learn more about his clients - and as a competitive business weapon for the past 20+ years.

A graduate of St. Bonaventure University and The Harvard Business School, John made the leap from corporate office to entrepreneur in 1995, and founded Talent & Energy, www.talentandenergy.com a full-service marketing, sales and public relations firm. Today he leads a TALENT POOL of professionals with specific expertise and the drive to make an immediate impact on any company, with a unique formula for project timelines that minimize expenses and maximize results, as well as being a partner in Corporate Golf.

John has held board positions with 7 different organizations and has extensive experience in general management, advertising, brand management, manufacturing, packaging, sales deployment and public relations. Talent & Energy was recognized as a finalist for Palm Beach County Entrepreneur of the Year 2003. He's also a bonafide golf nut, carrying a 7 handicap.

RICK SESSINGHAUS

Rick Sessinghaus is a PGA member, sports psychologist and author of the best selling book, "Golf, the ultimate mind game." Rick specializes in the mental game of golf. He received his Doctorate in Applied Sports Psychology and has helped professionals, high ranking amateurs, and junior players improve their performance through mental training. Rick has taken these peak performance principles to corporate America as a sought after speaker and trainer. He trains individuals and teams how to improve motivation, stay focused, develop mental toughness, and perform under pressure
